1. ACCOMMODATION

Acumba whale watching package includes 2 hotel nights in Medellín, and as many nights as you want in Bahia Solano.

The hotel in Medellin is located in a perfect location to enjoy and experience city restaurants, night life and everything Medellin has to offer. In Bahia Solano our lodge is fully equipped for your comfort, personal cook and butler will be waiting for you to attend your needs, full time laundry, electricity, fresh water and unique views to the sea are one of many commodities you will find with us.

5. SCHEDULE

Our standard package always starts on a thursday with your arrival to Colombia and ends on Monday with your return to Medellin, however if you want to stay more days or you wish to select other dates that suite your plans, we have flexible packages for your availability, contact us to plan your trip as you want.

FIRST DAY PRIOR YOUR FLIGHT TO BAHIA SOLANO. DEPENDING ARRIVAL TIME TO MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA. Arrive to Medellin, Colombia at Jose Maria Cordoba International Airport. Here one of our representatives will pick you up and take you to the Hotel in Medellin (40 min drive).
FLIGHT DAY TO BAHIA SOLANO.
7:00 a. m. An Afloat representative will pick you up at the Hotel to take you to the Olaya Herrera airport where you will take a national Flight.
8:30 a. m. Scheduled flight departure from Medellin/Antioquia to Bahia Solano/Chocó (35 min flight).
9:30 a. m. An Afloat representative will pick you up at Bahia Solano airport and take you for last minute purchases before taking you to the marine where the boat is ready to go.
11:00 a. m. Boat leaves to the Lodge.
12:00 p. m. Arrival to the lodge where Acumba staff will be waiting for you.
1:00 p. m. Lunch at the loge.
2:00 p. m. Time to relax at the beach.
7:00 p. m. Dinner at the lodge.
8:00 p. m. Fire by the ocean.
CHOOSEN SIGHTING DAYS
7:00 a. m. Breakfast at the lodge.
8:00 a. m. Recommended start time.
9:00 a. m. – 12:00 p.m. Whale watching activities.
1:00 p. m. Lunch which can be eather at the boat or any beach selected by Acumba staff.
2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Whale watching and other eco activities selected by Acumba staff.
5:00 p.m. Mandatory return to the lodge.
7:00 p.m. Dinner at the lodge.
8:00 p.m Fire by the ocean.
RETURN TO MEDELLIN
6:OO a. m. Breakfast at the lodge.
7:30 a. m. The boat leaves to Bahia Solano marine.
8:30 a. m. An Afloat representative will pick you up at Bahia Solano marine to take you to the airport.
11:00 a. m. Flight leaves to Olaya Herrera airport (35 min flight).
12:00 p. m. An Afloat representative will pick you up at the airport to take you to the Hotel.
LAST DAY. DEPENDING ON SCHEDULED DEPARTURE. Shuttle transfer to the airport.

Unfortunately, this can cause extra charges in terms of flight changes and such. In the rare event that you are faced with such complications, we will do anything we can to help you plan accordingly and alleviate the circumstances.
