LOCATION AND ACCESSIBILITY
Anigua Beach House is situated on the northern Pacific coast of Colombia. Our journeys begin in Medellín, where we will arrange hotel accommodations and ground transportation for you. Additionally, we offer distinctive city tours to enhance your Medellín experience. The flight from Medellín’s domestic airport to Bahía Solano typically lasts about 40 minutes, with daily connections available.
Upon arrival at Bahía Solano Airport, you’ll enjoy a 15-minute ride to the tourist pier by tuk-tuk, car, or chiva, a local mode of transportation that immerses you in the local culture. From the tourist pier, it’s a 25-minute boat journey to our beach house. We take care of all your ground and sea transportation needs to ensure a seamless travel experience.

We understand the importance of flexibility in travel plans, which is why we have designed our itineraries to accommodate your preferred dates. Our packages start from two and a half fishing days and can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
Inshore
Season
- March to June
During the inshore season, the coastal waters of Bahia Solano come alive with the spectacular sardine migrations. This natural event attracts a variety of prized species, making it a prime time for sport fishing. Anglers can target:
Pacific Sailfish
Known for their acrobatic displays and impressive speed, Pacific Sailfish are a favorite among anglers. Techniques such as trolling and fly fishing are highly effective.
Wahoo
Sleek and fast predator, is a prized catch in Bahía Solano’s waters, offering anglers thrilling battles and rewarding fishing adventures along Colombia’s Pacific coast.
Cubera Snapper
A highly sought-after species for their aggressive strikes and strong fights. Popping and live bait fishing are popular techniques for targeting Cubera Snapper, especially near rocky structures and reefs.
Amberjack
These hard-fighting fish are often found around wrecks and reefs. Jigging and live bait are effective techniques for Amberjack, which are known for their brute strength.
Tarpon
Famous for their aerial acrobatics and powerful runs, Tarpon are a dream catch for many anglers. Fly fishing and live bait are commonly used to hook these silver kings.
Rooster Fish
Recognized by their distinctive dorsal fin, Rooster Fish are a prized catch for their tenacious fights. Popping and live bait are effective methods for targeting these unique predators.
Additionally, during this season, the presence of whale sharks is often noted when we are searching for bait balls. This gives you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to swim with these gentle giants, adding an extraordinary experience to your fishing trip

Offshore Season

The offshore season in Bahia Solano is ideal for those seeking the thrill of deep-sea fishing. Just miles from the shore, the waters are abundant with pelagic species, providing a challenging and exciting experience. Key species include:
Blue and Black Marlin
These magnificent giants are the pinnacle of sport fishing, known for their size, power, and spectacular leaps. Trolling with large lures and baits is the preferred method for targeting Marlin.
Pacific Sailfish
Another highly prized billfish, Sailfish are known for their incredible speed and acrobatic fights. Trolling and live bait are effective techniques for catching these elegant predators.
Mahi-Mahi (Dorado)
Renowned for their vibrant colors and spirited fights, Mahi-Mahi are a favorite among anglers. Trolling and casting with lures are common methods to catch these energetic fish.
Yellowfin Tuna

Our beach house is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the jungle, offering breathtaking ocean views and a private beach. It features:
