A Great Week with Our Brazilian Anglers
Beyond the fishing statistics, Week 4 was about sharing the experience with a fantastic group of anglers from Brazil.
Ten guests came together to explore the waters of Pasimoni, spending six days fishing, enjoying the surroundings, and experiencing life in a destination far removed from conventional fishing operations.
At Afloat, we believe that a successful expedition is about more than the fish. It is also about the people, the moments shared between fishing sessions, and the experience of discovering places that very few anglers get to visit.

Fishing at Pasimoni: Two Distinct Seasons
Pasimoni offers two main fishing seasons throughout the year, giving anglers different opportunities to plan their expedition.
January to March
The first fishing season runs from January through March. These months offer an opportunity to explore Pasimoni during the beginning of the year and experience its exceptional Peacock Bass fishing.
September to the First Week of December
The second season begins in September and continues through the first week of December. This period provides another opportunity to experience the destination before the end of the year. Both seasons are designed around multi-day fishing expeditions, allowing anglers to explore different stretches of the river and dedicate their days to pursuing trophy Peacock Bass.
Getting to Pasimoni Lodge
An expedition to Pasimoni is part of the adventure itself. Located in a remote region of Venezuela, reaching the lodge requires carefully coordinated travel arrangements. Afloat organizes the logistics of the expedition, connecting international travel with the necessary domestic flights, charter transportation, and transfers to reach the fishing destination.
The objective is to make the journey as seamless as possible so guests can focus on what matters most: enjoying their time on the water.
An Experience Beyond Fishing
Pasimoni is not a conventional fishing destination. Its remote setting, natural surroundings, and dedicated fishing experience create an opportunity to disconnect from everyday life and spend quality time in an extraordinary environment.
Whether fishing with conventional tackle or fly equipment, the experience is built around exploring the river, pursuing Peacock Bass, and enjoying the unique character of this destination.
At Afloat Fishing & Adventure, we follow a catch-and-release fishing philosophy, with conservation and responsible fishing at the center of our operations.
